Okay, okay – call it a “courtesy” campaign, or a “niceness” campaign.  However civility is more than just being courteous or nice. It’s about how we see each other, talk to each other, listen to each other, work together and even disagree with each other. BUT being courteous and being nice is a great place to start!

So let’s start with our Civility Challenge! How can you be more courteous in your every day life? Can you hold the door open for someone? Smile at a stranger? Say “please” and “thank you?” Give up your seat for someone who needs it? Have an agreeable discussion with someone you disagree with?

Join our “Good Deed Challenge” on social media:

  • Invite 2 of your friends to join in with you!

At the end of the 7 day challenge, one participant will receive a special reward!

Volunteer at a local food bank

Donate gently used items to someone in need

Random acts of kindness

Give a stranger a genuine compliment

Pick up trash when you see it

Be patient & courteous when you’re driving
